AIBL Business Math Program

American Indian Business Leaders (AIBL) is a National student-based program that supports and promotes our future American Indian business leaders. Future trends indicate an increased need for educated American Indian people to assist with tribal business and economic development, planning, and strategic implementation.  The origin of AIBL evolved to meet this need and prepares our students of today with the proficiency, confidence, and experience to overcome the tribal economic, cultural, and leadership challenges they will face tomorrow.

Initially, AIBL concentrated its student development efforts on tribal college and university students; however due to an overwhelming interest, AIBL has grown to include programs, activities, and events directed at middle and high school students. Therefore, to establish an effective chapter program that takes the ages of our students and their structured classroom learning environments into consideration, AIBL developed the AIBL Business Math Program.

Program Goals

1. Learn the Basics of Entrepreneurship
2. Promote Academic Excellence and Character Development
3. Encourage Leadership and Individual Responsibility
4. Promote Civic Responsibility via Community Service
5. Provide College and Career Guidance
6. Money Management Skills
7. Furnish a Culturally Appropriate Learning Environment
