I am stationed at the ISRC (Institute for Seabird Research and Conservation) on Middleton Island, Alaska. When this opportunity was mentioned by my graduate advisor I thought, “Wow! That sounds like an amazing experience.”

After being here for a month, I can easily say this place exceeds my expectations! I am learning more each day how rare of a field work station I am working at.

Thanks to AIBL (American Indigenous Business Leaders) I get to be here for the entire summer before I start graduate school. Even more exciting –thanks to my grad advisor, I get to return for the next two summers!
