My name is Emily and I was born and raised in Springdale, Arkansas. I am a Junior majoring in Business Management at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. I am a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Currently I serve as the President of the American Indigenous Business Leaders (AIBL), and a general member of the Finance and Economics Network (FEN). My main goal through both of these organizations is to empower leadership and invite growth through opportunity. I am passionate about all things management, specifically project management, and have goals of establishing a career in the field of project management. I don’t shy away from a challenge, but instead have been known to embrace challenge with open arms. I firmly believe that there is a leader inside each and every one of us, it is just a matter of gaining experience and confidence through those skills and abilities that set the great leaders apart from the rest. I am determined, willing and able, and I know that I can do anything I set my mind to.
